The world of fashion is known for being exclusive and hard to break into. For the launch of YouTube Shorts, YouTube’s short form content platform, we wanted to change that.
We started out asking YouTube creators to make a new DIY fashion line using up-cycled material. They then displayed their designs and process on the new Shorts platform inspiring others to join. We took our favorite designs and put them on display in Soho storefronts during New York Fashion Week.
